Sheil, artist/owner of EuroPorts loves antiques, jewelry,
fashions and textiles. But her passion is vintage furniture.
Specifically, the transformation of a piece of vintage furniture
into an exquisite avant-garde, signed work of art, which
will never be replicated. Room Jewelry
Lynda has an interior and building background
and brings her love of architecture, elegance and good
design to create each unique, European inspired work, that
is a classic reflection of times past. She believes that "a
timeless classic environment is the best of all investments" and
works with designers and clients to mutually acheive that
in custom furniture that she paints and the rooms she creates.
She loves and works in multiple layers of custom mixed
glazes, both oil and acrylic, hand blocked leopard and
marble papers, metal alloys which are aged over time and
distressed to acheive the translucere, French for light
from within to develop.
Lynda designs and paints in two studios
both allowing her to paint plein air weather permitting.
Her home studio is light filled and set admidst her gardens
and showcase the Sculptural Iron she and her son Michael
import from artists in Mexico. The Euroports studio in
Humarock overlooks the South River and houses raw product
for custom commissions as well as a furniture gallery of
finished pieces. Designers and clients wishing custom work
meet here to view paint finishes, textiles, and papers
to mutually create a beautiful piece which will be a reflection
of their personal taste to hand down to future generations
